Joe Strummer. What can you say, the dude had it.
The Clash – Magnificent Seven live
The Clash – English Civil War live
Joe Strummer and the Mescaleros – Tony Adams live
Joe Strummer “Redemption Song”
The Clash – Straight to hell (acoustic by some dude)
Don’t care what your playing, don’t care people are saying, all I know is I like Graham Parker’s latest disk “Don’t tell Columbus”. I saw him warm up for Ted Nugent at Market Square arena. That means he’s old.
Mona Lisa’s Sister – Start a fire!

I don’t know what else to say except… Rock n Roll. Somehow a defining snapshot of rock n roll for me. I don’t know Iron Maidens music at all and would hazard that I prefer this version over “The Maiden” live in my living room. They’d be too damn perfect, and with hair and spandex and lights. I could care less that it’s not polished, perfect or anything else that we’ve come to expect from a music that is best played raw. Kids in their bedroom bringing it back to base. Rock out. …and I hope the girls eardrums survive to sing lead for them someday.
Watch the video – if nothing else from 2:15- 3:30, kid plays some serious guitar
