Not sure if you still care but https://www.io200.com/ is THE only real sucessor, very close to Koken.
They even have an import script for Koken

Try craft cms. Will need some programming skills but a nice option as far as photo management goes, that is not as advanced as koken was but…

Bare in mind that this is very dangerous to install a php cms who has not been update since years. This is a Major security issue. Don’t do that if you want to be serious. This is just for fun/curiosity.

Petri, what did you choose in the end? I was going to play with Koken but it really does seem like the project is abandoned. I haven’t seen an update since March 2018 on their Twitter.

still happy with koken ? I can say that since they took over, there has not been any major upgrades, all the support links are dead…looks like they abandoned it too…

I am trying to find a way to export my 20GB oh photos from koken to another CMS, don’t know which one… if there is one that supports importing from koken I would chose that one, even if I need to pay…
