You wrote this as if there was a dropdown option to put a check mark next to, labeled Sleep = no Start Screen on Wake”.

You’re actually saying that, if you don’t use the Start menu to put the computer to sleep, there will be no start menu when it wakes up.

ARRRGH. I’m glad I puzzled that out, but it could have been clearer. You could have said WHY this works instead of just listing the steps.
