Good luck at Little 5 and maybe I’ll see you around. I did the Hilly 100 twice with my oldest, gotta get the bike down there again.

I remember those days well. You guys really had a great season and had a ton of fun as well. I’ve been reminiscing a lot lately as my oldest son is now training and going out for little 5 with one of the established independent teams. In preparation, he’s riding his first Crit on Saturday. I think I’m more nervous than he is. Great reading your posts!

1) Install Notepad++ app on new computer.
2) Open and close the Notepad++ app on new computer.
3) Copy the Notepad++ folder from old computer to %userprofile%\AppData\Roaming\Notepad++ on new computer.
4) Open Notepad++ app on new computer.

Thanks mucho for this import information.

Microsoft obviously thinks their customers don’t know what’s going on. So they automatically make changes to our computers gaurentee-ing that we don’t know what’s going on.

Can’t understand what a directory is? We’ll invent folders which are sometimes directories but sometimes system generated and sometimes in the cloud. Cuz this will be simpler.

Don’t know where your files are? We’ll stop showing you the full path so you really never learn that in the first place.

Extensions confuse you? We’ll hide those and show you only part of your filename.

OH. You wrote this as if there was a dropdown option to put a check mark next to, labeled Sleep = no Start Screen on Wake”.

You’re actually saying that, if you don’t use the Start menu to put the computer to sleep, there will be no start menu when it wakes up.

ARRRGH. I’m glad I puzzled that out, but it could have been clearer. You could have said WHY this works instead of just listing the steps.

My 4 YO Thinkpad T480 wouldn’t wake up from hibernation. The power button was acting up. I thought it was a fried motherboard. Luckily, solution# 2 worked like a charm. Thank u very much. Commenting to upkeep this post !

Hi Glyn, the combined file should download to your web browsers standard download location – most often the Downloads folder where you’ve checked.

To check Downloads for Google Chrome you can click the three dots by your profile/name at the top right. Or press Ctrl+J on a computer. This will show your download history. If not found, try again perhaps the download was canceled or interrupted.
